Pilot introduces the Custom Enju, the newest addition to its celebrated Custom Collection. Crafted from natural Japanese Enju wood, this fountain pen combines the warmth and character of a traditional material with Pilot’s renowned craftsmanship and writing performance.
Enju wood, derived from the Japanese Pagoda Tree, has long been associated with longevity and good fortune in Japanese tradition. The wood features beautiful brown tones and distinctive grain patterns that vary from pen to pen, giving each Custom Enju its own individual character.
The natural wood cap and barrel are complemented by polished gold-colored appointments, including the clip, cap band, and decorative rings. A contrasting black grip section provides a classic finishing touch, allowing the warmth and texture of the Enju wood to remain the focus of the design.
The Custom Enju is fitted with Pilot’s large #15 two-tone 18k gold nib, available in Fine, Medium, and Broad. Known for its excellent writing characteristics, Pilot’s #15 nib is a favorite among enthusiasts and is paired here with the convenience of a cartridge/converter filling system.
Each pen is accompanied by a black leather Pilot Pensemble pen case with a soft gray suede interior, along with a CON-70 converter and black ink cartridge.
The Pilot Custom Enju is a beautiful combination of natural materials, traditional Japanese symbolism, and modern fountain pen craftsmanship.
